deste programa.
A referida
The present course conclusion work entitled “Today's Scenes, Yesterday's Scenarios: the informal
work of women workers benefiting from the PBF of Arapiraca-AL” aims to understand the
specificities of the occupational trajectories of women benefiting from this program. At first, it
will be approached about the historical roots that give the bases for the understanding of informal
work, as well as the whole process up to contemporary times, observing the changes that came
through the capitalist restructuring, which made it possible to change various spheres of social
life, like the work. For this, the study was elaborated through bibliographic research: from authors
who share the critical historical perspective. The theoretical contribution through books, articles,
monographs and theses, made possible the historical bases of the theme addressed. We also used
empirical research, which was carried out with 5 women, at the Central of the Single Registry of
the city of Arapiraca-AL, through a script of semi-structured interviews, to understand the
conditions of the occupational trajectories in the informality that the beneficiaries are , or have
already been inserted. This research made use of the perception and construction of the
investigated actors themselves, researching their occupational trajectories and survival
conditions, and after its completion, analyzes were carried out in order to correlate with the entire
theoretical contribution studied. It was understood, from both forms of studies, (bibliographic and
empirical) how informal work has undergone significant changes mainly since 1970, through the
structural crisis of capital, intensifying the precariousness, making possible through these
changes, which is currently called “new informality”.
