Educação escolar e o ensino da educação física: possibilidades de desenvolvimento humano a partir do esporte

Este artigo trata da relação do ensino da educação física, especialmente sobre o ensino do esporte buscando analisar os limites e possibilidades do desenvolvimento humano. Tem por objetivo discutir as possibilidades do desenvolvimento humano a partir da Educação Física escolar, no trato com o conhecimento da Cultura Corporal, em especial o ensino do esporte. Abordamos autores da teoria pedagógica na perspectiva do desenvolvimento humano e o papel da educação; autores da educação física para discutir o o ensino do esporte, buscando elementos para uma fundamentação teórica da educação física e do esporte enquanto auxiliador do desenvolvimento humano. Concluímos que, em decorrência das influências sofridas na educação física, o esporte ainda apresenta traços do esporte de rendimento, no ambiente escolar, ao invés de estar adequado aos objetivos educacionais, vinculado ao projeto político pedagógico da instituição. Propomos a superação dessa perspectiva, defendendo a perspectiva Crítico-Superadora, enfatizando os aspectos históricos e sociais do esporte podendo modificar assim sua prática no meio da sociedade.

This work studies the relationship between the teaching of physical education and human development, especially on the teaching of sport, seeking to analyze the limits and possibilities of human development. It aims to discuss the possibilities of human development from school physical education, dealing with the knowledge of corporal culture, especially the teaching of sport. We approach authors of pedagogical theory from the perspective of human development and the role of education; physical education authors discuss the teaching of sport, seeking elements for a theoretical foundation of physical education and sport as support to human development. We conclude that, due to the influences suffered in physical education, the sport still presents traces of performance sport, in the school environment, instead of being adequate to the educational objectives, linked to the political pedagogical project of the institution. We propose to overcome this perspective, defending the criticalovercoming perspective, emphasizing the historical and social aspects of the sport, thus being able to modify its practice in the midst of society.
