<rodriguesifal@gmail.com>
Dentre as reflexões
clínica do autismo.
This work had as general objective to investigate the conception that contemporary psychoanalysis has
about the phenomenon of autism. For that, some specific objectives were designated: to understand the
psychoanalytic contributions directed to the autism clinic; to investigate autism in the light of the
hypothesis of a clinical structure independent of psychoses; and, finally, to investigate what
professionals have to say about autism in the face of the demands of psychoanalytic clinic. Work
began with the exploration of psychoanalysis and the scope of its conceptions, taking as a starting
point the historicity and contextualization of its theoretical basis. For this, it was necessary to
understand the scenarios that enabled the emergence of psychoanalysis as an alternative for the
treatment of psychoneuroses. Following up, the main psychoanalytic concepts and the reinterpretation
of psychoanalysis proposed by Lacan were discussed, which made it possible to enter, later, on what
can be conceived as the possible relationship between autism and psychoanalytic clinic, allowing to
ascertain the reading that psychoanalysis does the subject's autistic condition, and the theoretical
problems faced by this bias. As for the methodological aspects, it is a research in psychoanalysis, in
which a survey of productions that contemplated the proposed theme was carried out, through the
SciELO platform. Soon after, for the analysis, 5 academic articles were collected, all in Portuguese
and published in the last 10 years, which made it possible to funnel the material, giving priority to the
most recent publications. In the analysis, Bardin's content analysis method was performed, which
resulted in 4 main categories: 1) The psychoanalytic clinic of autism is singularity clinic; 2)
Difficulties in diagnosing and recognizing early autism; 3) In autism, problems in the relationship with
the primordial Other; 4) autism and language. In the results, it is contemplated that in addition to the
difficulties faced by professionals regarding clinical management in cases of autism, there are also
problems in recognizing symptoms and distinguishing this condition from other disorders. Therefore,
although it has been confused for a long time with schizophrenia, or even considered one of the facets
of psychosis, there is a large majority that converges to the understanding of a clinical structure of
autism. In any case, the path for psychoanalysis to follow in the territory of the TEA is still long and
too arduous. Among the facilitated reflections, it is understood that this research provided discussions
enabling the conception of autism as a subjective condition and clinical structure, in addition to the
place of psychoanalysis in the understanding and treatment of the autistic subject. Therefore, the
relevance of this research is highlighted for students and professionals who identify with the
psychoanalytical aspect and intend to work with the autism clinic.
