A
The COVID-19 pandemic has drastically changed how relationships in the
most diverse sectors of educational society, in the sector. Classes in
educational institutions had to adapt to a new reality through the adoption of
emergency remote (ERE), through the use of technologies and virtual platforms,
profoundly changing the teaching and learning relationships. Thus, this work
aims to identify the main contributions of the ERE to the process of high
school and teaching chemistry learning. For this, an integrative review of the
works carried out between the years 2020 and 2021 was carried out in the
database of the journals portal of the Coordination for the Improvement of
Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) using some inclusion and exclusion criteria
that could answer the following: question: given the challenges of returning to
face-to-face classes, what are the main contributions that remote teaching can
offer to high school chemistry teaching? As a result, nine articles were found
that address these methods and show that despite all the difficulties during
the ERE, it left us a very important legacy, as it alerts to the need for the
methods found alongside the teaching of walking with the technologies of
information and communication, this as a facilitating tool in the teaching and
learning process of chemistry. Therefore, the use of tools such as Facebook,
alternative reality games (ARG), digital platforms and virtual games are
complementary alternatives to the chemistry teaching and learning process and
can enhance this process.
