<thalita.h96@gmail.com>
O presente trabalho teve
The present work
aims to deal with an analysis of the organic matter of the anthill soil, that
is, about everything that influences it, dealing clearly with humic substances,
organic matter. The work was divided into three chapters, where in the first
one a bibliographical review was made on the subject with main focus on the
soil, approaching on organic matter, humic substances and on anthill soil with
main focus on the properties of ant and in its importance for the environment.
The second chapter will discuss nutrient cycling, addressing the potential of
anthill soil and its applications. And the third chapter will cover all the
results and discussions obtained. The methodology used for the realization was
built through a general overview of the topics covered based on a doctrinal
study and bibliographies, as well as studies, research, articles dealing with
the topic, and finally, research in various media such as the subjects found on
the internet. We sought to make this overview in a clear way to facilitate
understanding and greater clarification of the main points that were mentioned.
Some studies demonstrate that anthill activities alter the physical and chemical
composition of the soil in relation to the adjacent soil. Ant populations can
be used as bioindicators of land use, as they are sensitive and react to
changes induced by human and natural activities to the soil and its vegetation
cover. Studies were carried out on the chemical composition of the soil that
makes up the nest of anthills collected in the municipalities of Arapiraca and
Penedo. The samples were analyzed by the Laboratory of Environmental Sciences
of Agreste (LCAA), at the Federal University of Alagoas. This work aimed to
extract and characterize humic substances extracted from anthill soils. The
characterization was carried out by spectroscopy in the region of ultraviolet
and visible light (UV-vis), absorbance readings were taken at 270nm, 407nm,
465nm and 665nm, through the E4/E6 ratio, which showed that HS has humification
and aromatic characteristics, the ratio E2/E4, indicated the presence of
porphyrin structures in the studied SH. The percentage of organic matter (%MO)
of the soils was also performed.
