A
A área foliar recebeu
Sugarcane (Saccharum
spp.) is one of the most important crops for Brazilian agribusiness, with
Brazil being the largest producer and exporter in the world. The biometric
characteristics of the sugarcane are influenced by the climatic conditions, the
handling, and the availability of water, light and nutrients. Brazilian soils
have low base saturation, which, when associated with high levels of
exchangeable aluminum, negatively interferes with the root growth of sugarcane,
making it necessary for us to perform soil correction. Therefore, the objective
was to evaluate the initial growth of sugarcane, under organic fertilization
and soil correction, at 60, 120 and 180 days after planting. The experiment was
carried out in a sugarcane, variety RB92579, renewal area, located in the
municipality of Teotônio Vilela-AL. The treatments were represented by:
1-calcium and magnesium oxide (O), 2-Agricultural gypsum (G) and 3- Poultry
litter (C), 4- O+G, 5-O+C, 6-G+C, 7-O+G+C and 8-Witness. A randomized block
design was adopted, with five replications and 8 treatments, totaling 40 plots.
The variables analyzed were: tiller number (NP), average stem length (CMC),
leaf length (CF), leaf width (LF), number of leaves (NF) and leaf area (AF).
Data were submitted to analysis of variance, using the Sisvar statistical
software, using the Scott-Knott test (p>0.05). The treatments showed no
influence on NP, CMC and NF. The CF was influenced by the treatments only at 60
DAP, and the LF at 120 and 180 DAP. The leaf area was influenced by the treatments
at all evaluation times.
