Serviço social e controle social na política de saúde: limites e possibilidades

O objetivo deste estudo é aprofundar a reflexão e análise crítica do controle social da política de saúde pela sociedade civil, no sentido de elucidar os limites e as possibilidades do controle social na saúde pública para o Serviço Social e a atuação dos profissionais da área, diante das conseqüências da política neoliberal, responsável pela mercantilização e privatização da saúde. O resultado da pesquisa pretende contribuir para ampliar o conhecimento sobre essa temática, para que a sociedade possa utilizar a esfera pública, através dos conselhos de saúde, como espaço mediador e interlocutor entre sociedade civil, Estado e iniciativa privada, e compreender o papel do Serviço Social no controle social, com o fito de repensar as ações políticas em torno da saúde pública na sociedade brasileira. 

The objective of this study is to deepen reflection and critical analysis of the social control of health policy by civil society, to clarify the limits and possibilities of social control in the public health for the Service and the role of professionals in the area, given the consequences of the neoliberal policy, responsible for the commercialisation and privatisation of health. The result of the research is to contribute to enlarge the knowledge about this issue, so that the company can use the public sphere, through the advice of health, as space mediator and facilitator between civil society, government and private initiative, and understand the role of Service in social control, with the aim to rethink policies around the actions of public health in Brazilian society.
