O papel do educador na educação especial inclusiva
O papel do educador na educação especial inclusiva
<maria.graziele@arapiraca.ufal.br>
favorecer a prática inclusiva.
This work aims to analyze the legal and
pedagogical foundations that underpin the teacher's role in the school
inclusion process. Specifically, it seeks to: briefly contextualize special
education policies; discuss the need for teacher training to work with
diversity; and identify interpersonal skills and pedagogical strategies, such
as Specialized Educational Services (SES) and the Individualized Education Plan
(IEP), that can promote inclusive practice. Through a qualitative and
bibliographical research approach, the study is based on authors such asDel
Prette and Del Prette (1997; 2005; 2008), Perrenoud (2000), Vygotsky (2000),
Sassaki (1998), among others, who support the theoretical discussion. It is
concluded that educators need frameworks to help them deal with the subjective
and institutional dimensions of inclusion, understanding it as a continuous,
interactive, and cooperative process. The school thus reveals itself as a
privileged space for learning about and with diversity, maintaining an open and
ongoing dialogue on the subject.
